Sunday 17th November

Transportation and accommodation of the guests partners

Monday 18th November

Traditional games in the playground  

MORNING ACTIVITIES:

Welcoming the partners at “Antonio de Ulloa” school.
Welcoming song and speech by local and regional authorities, Spanish headteacher, Spanish coordinator and students.










Guide tour around our school and visit to some classes, Erasmus Plus corner, Cultural stands (traditional costumes/ pottery/ bobbin lace/ festivals: Holy week & Romans and Carthaginians) and Project logo exhibition.

Power point presentations about our schools.

Visit to the windmills in Torre Pacheco (The Cartagena countryside has been a land of windmills for more than six centuries).

Tuesday 19th November

Autumn Festival: The chestnut seller



MORNING ACTIVITIES: 

Teachers participate in different classes along with host teachers and interact with students. Cultural topic: Romans and Carthaginians in Cartagena 
(PowerPoint presentations, special costumes descriptions, parades by Spanish students and photocall)

Visit to the Roman Theatre in Cartagena and Roman Forum neighbourhood.








FREE TIME (walk around the town and shopping)

Dinner at Nimú Taberna & Wine, Cartagena (next to the regional handicrafts center)

Wednesday 20th November

The potter: Year 4-6 students  using the potter´s wheel

MORNING ACTIVITIES: 

Teachers work with students in the Spanish school on different activities along with host teachers. Cultural topic: Places of interest and creation of a travel guide.

Greek teachers work with class 5B ……  Activity: “A Greek travel guide”
An activity which Ms Iakovou, Ms Ioakimidi, Ms Voitsiou,  Mr Bouradas and the Greek 6th grade students prepared.  The Greek group of teachers worked together with the Spanish students to create a travel guide on a map.






Austrian teachers work with class 5A ……  Activity: “An Austrian travel guide”




Turkish teachers work with class 6A ……  Activity: “A Turkish travel guide”



British teachers work with class 6B ……  Activity: “A British travel guide”



Seminar: How important is cultural heritage? A guest speaker will talk to students and teachers about the importance of preserving the cultural heritage.



Break time Churros with chocolate

Trip to La Manga (Mar Menor), Visit to Cabo de Palos Lighthouse and sunset by the sea.

Thursday 21st November

The potter: Year 1- 3 students  using the potter´s wheel

MORNING ACTIVITIES:

Teachers work with students in the Spanish school on different activities along with host teachers. (Cultural topic)

Greek teachers work with class 6A ……  Activity: song in class + outdoor game
Song and outdoor game prepared by Mr Andronis and Ms Nena Iakovou.  The Greek group of teachers worked together to teach the song to the Spanish students and carry out the outdoor game activity.






Austrian teachers work with class 6B …… Activity: Cultural song and dance.
Performing austrian cultural songs and dances in the 6B class  (Ms Katrin Lampel, Ms Manuela Gigerl, Mrs Janine Wippel)



Turkish teachers work with class 5A ……. Activity: A cultural song

Greek teachers work with class 6B …… Activity: A Greek folk tale
A Greek folktale which Lena Pramantioti and her Greek class (3rd class) prepared. The Greek group of teachers worked together with the Spanish students to reconstruct this Greek tale.









Austrian teachers work with class 6A …… Activity: Austrian theatre games

Farewell lunch at Nautic Club restaurant 


The farewell lunch in Spain ended with all the teachers singing the "Hello" song. It was a moving moment for us all ... Let's Go Cultural ...


Mrs Lola Villalba Madrid, the music teacher of the CEP Antonio de Ulloa school, taught the song to her school children and shared the video with us. The children accompany the song using their bottles as musical instruments. Excellent!
Thank you very much Lola ...



The children of Volsschule Wildbach sing the "Hello song" in their classroom with the help of their teacher, Ms Janine Wippel. And they sound wonderful!
