Open Day 2 - Whitehouse Common disseminate our visit to Greece

Following our return from Elefsina, Mrs Milward, Mrs Bird and Señora Stevens were eager to share what they had done.

Erasmus+ Open Day Event – Let’s go cultural – Volksschule Wildbach

On July 6th the annual school festival took place at our elementary school with the entire school staff, parents and students. This festival was also used to present the results of the last Erasmus trips to Turkey and Greece. In addition to this there was an Eramus+ Corner inside of the school building.

Here the parents also had the opportunity to scroll through our Erasmus+ Journal, to look at videos, photos and created materials as well as to find out about short projects in the course of the Erasmus exchange. At the end the “Hello Song” was sung together once again.

Open Day 2: Erasmus+ Project Dissemination Event

The 2nd project dissemination event: Open Day 2 of the 10th Primary School of Elefsina took place on Monday 20th June 2022 in the 1st Primary School of Chaidari, Attica. During this event, three teachers of the Erasmus+ group were invited to speak about the Erasmus+ partnership, share their experiences and the project results.

The participants had the chance to learn about the aims of our partnership, the teacher and student involvement, the transnational meetings and the project outcomes. They watched the videos and the photos of the project blog, they visited the project YouTube channel and Facebook group, as well as, the project eTwinning page.

The guest speakers also informed the participants about the benefits of Erasmus+ partnerships for the students, teachers, the school and the whole community in general. Guidelines concerning the new processes for project application and registration to the European platform were also given.

Finally, the participants asked the guest teachers questions concerning the activities of the partnership and the challenges they faced during the three years. The event was very informative and all participants were encouraged to participate in similar projects. Participation certificates were given in the end.
