Virtual Transnational Meeting - January 2022
The partner schools participated in a virtual meeting which celebrated the intangible cultural heritage of the partners. The aim of this meeting was firstly to give the opportunity to students of all countries to interact with each other and share elements of their culture and secondly to give the chance to the Greek and Turkish partner to present the activities they had planned for the transnational meeting in the UK in which they did not participate in March 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions imposed on them.

Tuesday
1) Introductions:
a) The English school starts with the British song sung in the 2nd meeting.
b) British students explain how the British culture game is played.
c) Students give some information about themselves.
Hello, I am… I am …Years old, etc.
2) Collaborative reading of the story: We are going on a bear hunt
a) Students read in their language the part which Mrs Stevens has assigned to them from the story "We are going on a bear hunt".
b) A slideshow with pictures of the places visited during the 2nd transnational meeting.
End of first day!
Thursday
1) Introduction:
a) The Turkish students show the Karagoz characters and read a small dialogue in Turkish and in English.
b) The partners ask one question each to the Turkish partners about shadow theatre.
2) A game: Greek action game based on a Greek myth
(the Greek partner will send some information about the Greek myth in advance).
During the meeting this information will be presented again by the Greek students and then all the students together will perform an action game based on the myth.
End of the second day!
Friday
1) Introduction:
a) The students read in their languages a dictionary page presented by the Greek and Turkish partners on School subjects, classrooms and numbers (1-10). This part is recorded with cameras switched off.
2) Language game:
The students play a game on these words: Guess the language.
